I've already checked the curriculum portals, but is anyone out there doing climate change activities in the non-school, non-formal setting? ("in the fields" - literally - like nature centers and /or preserves) If so, please let me know whether you're creating it yourself or if you've found some other curriculum. Thanks!

State Park Naturalists: Your thoughts on a "Master Naturalist" program

Fellow WSPS Interpreters: I am currently working with partners from the UW-Extension and UW-GB to begin development of a "Master Naturalist" style program for Wisconsin. We intend to call it the "Wisconsin Volunteer Naturalist Program" (WiVN), and it will be a volunteer training and service program targeting adults with an interest in resource stewardship, research/monitoring, or interp/EE. I'd like to hear your thoughts on how you as WSPS naturalists think you can help with the program, how you think our properties and friends groups might help, and any specific concerns or suggestions you've got for bringing such a program to WI. Thanks for your ideas!

Environmental Science course description

I am writing a proposal for an Environmental Science course and need to include a brief description that would go in a course description booklet. I would love to hear what other people have. The framework is fantastic, but very detailed. How do I put that into a few sentences??
